Rainbow Dash has been a Wonderbolt for some time. She has also been happily married to Soarin and they have had two foals: a colt named Fire Spectrum, and a filly named Gentle Breeze. It's almost time for Rainbow and Soarin's anniversary; when Gentle Breeze finds out about where the two are going to celebrate, she also realises that she and her brother don't know about how the two started dating in the first place. Needless to say, she wants to find out, now if only her brother was as enthusiastic as her....

Have to admit, I really enjoyed this redo. Soarin felt natural, the kids were funny and you actually have me wanting to know... How did Soarin meet Dash? I'm very much looking forward to whenever you manage the next chapter.
Also, I think this was a better route to take, as much as I enjoyed the Attic, this felt more natural and a little less contrived. Very enjoyable.
Also... the line about Dash not gonna talk to Soarin for doing something Romantic... hilarious. I was laughing pretty good on that one.

That Treasure Planet stuff isn't the only dialogue that sounds familiar, Fleetfoot's over the top description of how lousy the food smelt reminds me of one Captain/Doctor Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce, when he decided to jump off the wagon for a week. Not to mention Spitfire's complaints about the two day warning remind me of one Major Margaret Houlihan who was dealing with a similar kind of officer (albeit "only" a colonel) was coming to inspect the nursing staff at her unit.
You're a fan of M*A*S*H as well aren't you.

Im sorry but to be honest me including a lot of other wonderbolt fic readers cringed when we heard fleetfoots voice from the episode. But seeing it written kinda made me cringe a bit more....
