Winter has come around once again and Rainbow Dash and Soarin have said goodbye to Tank as he settles down for his second hibernation. Dash is so excited about spending the first winter with her very special somepony, but Soarin has to tell her something. he is leaving for a Wonderbolts Winter tour and won't be back until spring.
The story also starts out with how the two pegasi got together.

This is my first actual FiMFiction I've ever written, I'm somewhat rusty. My good friend GeosdesicDragon has edited this for me. I am a huge fan of SoarinxDash ship and I have actually put a lot of heart into this, as I personally see myself like Rainbow Dash. As a huge tomboy, like her, we do actually have an affectionate side that we don't like showing off in public.

This is honestly one of the best fiction I ever read. Well written, well-balanced... Perfect.
Unf, it really hurts my heart to see Rainbow cry, her being my 2nd fav of the 6. And her whole complex makes my heart ache. Being the ideal, strong female who supposedly isn't afraid of anything but knows that without her friends' love and support, she'd probably be nothing but a teary eyed wreck. Because deep down, I believe being alone is Rainbow's worst fear, and it plays on her being such an amazing character. It's why Tanks for the Memories is one of my favorite RD eps, so impactful for her character.
Yeah, got to this fic a bit late, a few years old. But still, great fic. Got me right in the feels for one of my personal favorite ships. Loved it ❤️
