It's Luna's first morning in Canterlot, and she's having trouble getting sleep. Maybe her sister has something to help...?

The story of Nightmare Moon is simple, and everypony has heard it. It states that Luna became jealous of Celestia, and tried to overthrow her. But, as Luna takes the time to reflect back on her life, and tell her side of the story after a thousand years of solitude, what will come to be the real justification of her actions?

Princess Luna makes a surprise visit to Ponyville to spend some time with the girls who freed her. The royal pony's incredibly cheerful demeanor quickly leads to much confusion and amusement among all parties involved.

Vinyl Scratch is always up for a good party! But when she partys a bit too hard, even for her standards, she wakes up in a mysterious place with no memories of how she got there, and only the soft sound of Fur Elise to greet her listening ears.

Sometimes loss can be the driving force to follow one's dreams.

During the one thousand years of solitude Luna has spent on the moon, she has become extremely attached to both the moon and her pair of pink fuzzy socks. Celestia sends a lonely and pessimistic Luna to Ponyville in the hopes that she will make some friends, and with a bit of luck, get rid of her socks as well.

This was my submission to Equestria Daily's "Happy Luna's Super Magically Fun Storytime Adventure Challenge," and was labeled as "Goodbye to Socks." I finished it right before the deadline, giving me no time to get it edited, or give it a good title and description. Therefore, it got 38th place. I knew it could have been better; consequently, I edited it, slightly modified the title, and posted it here.
