Although the village at first appears idyllic, Dinky soon realizes that something is very wrong and that the town hides a terrible secret. Can Dinky escape? And, more importantly, can she help save the benighted citizens of Moonville?

A lost filly, an unrequited love, a plot for revenge, all elements laced in Private Eye's latest case. A simple kidnapping turns quickly into a quest to uncover a conspiracy against Ponyville's most beautiful mare. Private is determined to solve this case and bring the young filly home. But his partner might be just as determined in a much more personal endeavor.

Rainbow Dash spends the day with Scootaloo after seeing her feeling down. The two have a fantastic day together and begin to form an inseparable bond. That bond is broken after Scootaloo, Sweetie Bell, and Apple Bloom are kidnapped by a notorious crime mob. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack decide to take matters into their own hooves and search for CMC and the snatchers. Doing this, they embark on a journey that will take them to the dark underbelly of Equestria's crime system.

Following the events of The Dark Knight Rises, Bane has awoken to find himself in equestria. Enough said.

I couldn't find the artist who made the story cover, but that's basically where I got the idea from.

Poor financial decisions like forgoing star-spawn insurance and blowing all her bits on the Alicorn Amulet have left Trixie unable to pay for her appointment with the medium in Hollow Shades. Having discovered the magic of friendship, she has a deal to alter lest she incur the wrath of Tartarus. If only somepony who understood her plight could help her in her time of need. Unbeknownst to her, that somepony has been watching her perform from across the tavern.

It was supposed to be boring. The Annual Magic Users Convention is the one event of the year that recognizes all the accomplishments that unicorns, alicorns and other magic users have made. It's usually a night of long-winded speeches, mind-numbing presentations and unappetizing food. But when a certain mailmare finds two tickets to the convention addressed to her house, she decides that it is not only her privilege, but her duty to attend. And after suitably preparing herself for the occasion, she changes what is usually a boring night into one of the wildest and most bizarre experiences in a thousand years.

Abandoned as a fily, and forced to live on her own and raise herself, Trixie knows the pain of being on your own, and the hardships faced when taking on the whole world by yourself. And when she sees these qaulities in a young filly she happens to meet one night, she is determined not to let the young filly experience the same pains that Trixie was forced to endure when growing up.

But when it seems associating with this filly will only endanger her life, will Trixie's resolve last?
