Most Friday nights, the Cutie Mark Crusaders convene together at their clubhouse to spend the night together. Sometimes, they have friends over to tend to things like Scootaloo's Rainbow Dash Fan Club. Other nights, it's just the three of them, spending the better part of the evenings planning new ways to discover their destinies.

But on very rare occasions, one filly or another can't make it out for the night. And tonight was one of those nights.

Ever since she was born, Scootaloo has been shunted to the side and ignored. Now that she's found some friends who don't judge her on her looks or abilities, she realizes just what that truly means. She's found the light in darkness, and she's found it within herself.

Diamond Tiara wants attention, but she's not getting it. She seeks to change that.

Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom also want attention, but they're not getting it either. It's all Diamond Tiara's fault.

Written because I was pissed off. I figured that writing was a better outlet than attacking people.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon had their whole week planned out. They were out of school for the Summer Sunflower Jamboree. They were going to go shopping, stay up late, talk crap about ponies they didn't like, good wholesome fun.

So how is it that now they end up stuck at Sweet Apple Acres under Applejack's care, forced to be around Applebloom and the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders for the whole week?

It's going to be a long week ... for everypony involved ...

Accidents happen. Sometimes, they happen at the worst possible time, in the worst possible place.

Silver Spoon has an accident in front of her entire class. The worst, most embarrassing kind of accident a young filly can have.

And she has it all over her best friend.

When an assignment from school randomly pairs Scootaloo and Silver Spoon together, Scootaloo discovers a secret that could ruin her partner forever.

A visiting pegasus colt begins insulting Scootaloo, and when Applebloom tries to defend her, they end up being roped into a bet. However, Scootaloo is determined to win, and humiliate the boasting visitor.

What being disabled is, and what it isn't.

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon know that they're better than the rest of the lame foals and blank flanks; they're young, rich, and already have their cutie marks. When a new blank flank filly named Swan Song comes to the defense of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Silver Spoon finds herself doubting everything she thought she knew about her friends and herself.

Apple Bloom's latest idea for the Cutie Mark Crusaders leads to a row between her and Scootaloo, during which she unintentionally makes a harsh remark about the Pegasus filly's poor flying capabilities. Ashamed and angry, Scootaloo turns her back on the Crusaders; but shortly after their dispute, she bumps into a two-tone grey Pegasus colt named Rumble, who instantly feels sorry for her after hearing how bad she is at flying, and the two Pegasi strike up an immediate friendship.

As time goes on, Scootaloo starts to wonder if maybe her feelings for Rumble run far deeper - something that the other Cutie Mark Crusaders have noticed too, and soon, they begin making plans to bring them together. But when Apple Bloom decides to take it to the extreme, she accidentally lands Rumble in mortal danger. Will Scootaloo be able to save him?
