Celestia and Luna have lived long and suffered greatly. Luna, still insecure in her newfound grace, is anxious to secure herself against any further suffering. She sees in Twilight Sparkle (and in many others) the roots of ten thousand tragedies. Celestia proposes a wager.

A very loose retelling of the Book of Job.

Being an alicorn is wonderful... except when it isn't. There are plenty of things that put a damper on limitless vistas of possibility afforded by such a long life: Court, mortal needs and expectations, the occasional decade of ennui.

And the dreams, of course. Agelessness comes with its own special kind of dreaming. Celestia finds that her own "Inner Court" is a bit too literal, and it--and she--are troubled at the prospect of a near-immortal Twilight Sparkle.

If only she could articulate exactly why that was.

Part of the Monophysite Quartet, which also includes Celestia Isn't Real, Have You Considered My Servant, Twilight?, and The Esoteric Rites of Darkness. All four stories have a common origin point in an old story idea I called "Monophysite" and touch on who or what Celestia really is in some way. They are otherwise unrelated.

Magic.

For a long time, true magic was the domain of the unicorn nobility, or those few foals that were talented enough to be taken in as apprentices by accomplished wizards. Slowly, as civilization advanced and the masses were able to afford schooling for everyone, access to learning magic became ubiquitous.

However, just like in the old days, the mages still were a minority amongst unicorns - far from everyone was interested in studying for years or decades to become one, after all. Another holdover from the old days were the mage tournaments - a bit less fierce than the ones in the days of yore, but still enthusiastically participated in by proud unicorns wanting to show off their skills.

However, one day, the ancient traditions are shattered when a pegasus enters a mage tournament. And not only is he capable of holding his own, much to everyone's surprise, he even becomes the champion...

Fluttershy finds an injured Cliffrace in the Everfree forest and nurses it back to health. Its presents on Equestria has not gone unnoticed however.

TES 3 Morrowind Crossover

Everypony has one 'Longest Night', a night that just never seems to end, whether they want it to end or not. For Celestia, her Longest Night began on the first night she had to raise her sister's moon.

Heartbroken and filled with despair that she may never see her sister again, Celestia makes a wish upon a falling star to see her sister one more time. Little did she realise that the stars listen.

A one-shot story of two sisters, and one Faithful Student.

This story is a sequel to Fallen

They did it, the Elements of Harmony has finally worked and is powering up the machine against humanity’s invasion. However, an unexpected malfunction stops it as the portal opens, something else appears before them. In their conversation excuses and fight, the mysterious being had enough and punishes the Equestrians by banishing them all to a new with a set of changes & appearances. What new challenges waits for the pony invaders? What of the former element bearers? Can any of them ever seek redemption, after invading Earth and converting humans into ponies by their own princess who didn’t let go of her dark past? Find out now as they must work together once again from an even larger threat looming over the new world.

In less than an hour, Celestia will be executed for her crimes against humanity. Justice will finally be done for all those lost in the Conversion War.

But like all prisoners, she is entitled to have her last rites.

Swansong, an exiled changeling, is living in Equestria; surviving by any means she can. There’s a reason it’s considered Equestria’s second oldest profession. Swansong ekes out a living as best she can, until she finds herself in an impossible situation; she has laid an egg, a privilege normally restricted to the Queen’s brood.

As the the little hatchling grows, Swansong knows something is wrong. The child eats regular pony food, and she feels the love emanating from it. Her fellow changelings would either steal the child as a resource, to be fed on until she died; or they would kill her as an abomination.

She knows this, because being around the child makes her hungry herself.
