Within his final moments, an inmate of the Rainbow Factory struggles with the reality of his situation. Every single second that ticks before his certain death, the pegasis questions the truth to what is really going on in the facility. Ultimately writing them down in a discovered journal, he talks about those frequent questions and the role he plays in this twisted place.

In short, most of them were proclamations for war against Equestria. After a while, a certain princess grew tired of the constant declarations. As a response, she sent only one letter back to King Sombra...

It's no surprise that Ponyville's education lags behind the systems of Canterlot and other major cities. It's already hard enough for Cheerilee to handle the entirety of Ponyville's single-school education system, but when a certain mare comes into her life, everything may just fall into place.

A more realistic take on the opening events of the MLP movie, where the entire cast is NOT hit by plot mandated incompetence. It is, as expected, significantly shorter.
