Twilight Sparkle has expanded her studies, her responsibilities, and her life since becoming a princess. However, one autumn afternoon she finds herself unprepared to deal with a sudden physical attraction to another mare. The object of her desire, Rainbow Dash, notices and reacts by rubbing it in Twilight's face, but remaining distant. How should Twilight interpret Rainbow's mixed signals?

Twilight gathers the girls for an Easter egg hunt, promising that whoever gathers the most eggs wins a prize. What the girls don't know, is that the winner was pre-determined, and the prize is for Twilight herself just as much as it is for the pony who would win the competition.

Rainbow Dash. Best flyer in Equestria, 20% cooler and the most awesome mare in Ponyville.

...But none of those traits can win over the heart of a local librarian...

This is one of the hardest challenges she faced so far...

An influx of weather duties has left Rainbow Dash more overworked and exhausted than ever. With no funds to go on a proper vacation to blow off steam, Rainbow is trapped in a endless cycle of waking up, going to work, and going to sleep.

When Rainbow's responsibilities make even flying no longer fun, Twilight offers to let her stay at the library for an all-expenses paid staycation. Though a little unsure, it doesn’t take much convincing from Twilight for Rainbow to change her mind. Expecting to just find some peace and quiet for a few days, Rainbow finds that and much more.

Twilight just can't understand why Rainbow Dash became so upset over something so minimal. After all, Daring Do only kissed her romantic love interest; there's nothing harmful about that! However, as she starts to piece together just what it is that's going through Rainbow's mind, she begins to find herself thinking about subjects that she had been too busy to even really consider before.

The average pony would be delighted to wake up and find an adorable little bundle of joy on their doorstep—even more so after having learned it's been delivered by Princess Celestia herself! Now, imagine that this new foal has been chosen by fate to save Equestria's future, and you have a scenario beyond any would-be parent's wildest dreams. How absolutely wonderful would that be?

On a related note, Twilight Sparkle is now a mother. She isn't happy about it.
