Twilight had planned to visit Sunset Shimmer and her friends over in the other world for a nice, quiet weekend, away from all the worries and problems associated with being a Princess of Equestria. Unfortunately, things rarely go as planned.

After an accident cuts her off from Equestria, Twilight finds herself stuck in the human world until the gateway between the two worlds can be fixed. Which wouldn't normally be a problem...

But she can't bring herself to tell anyone or anything, except a cheap journal. It's better if nopony knows, after all, and her lies aren't hurting anyone.

For the past month, Twilight and Pinkie have been holding nightly study sessions, where they have the chance to sit around, eat lemon cake, and ponder the mysteries of the universe. Never before has Twilight had such an attentive student—and never before has she felt this warmth in her chest whenever she looks at Pinkie.

One night while studying, Pinkie lets slip that she's not just studying for herself, but to impress another mare. When Twilight starts to press her on who that mare is, however... things take a turn for the intimate.

Pinkie and Maud have been through a lot together. They moved away from their family to Canterlot, and they couldn't have been happier.

But of course, with a situation like their's, not everything is perfect. So when Pinkie finds out Maud is hiding something, she immediately blames herself for it.

Her mind's a bit backwards, but her heart's in the right place.

Diana found a package in her mailbox. It had apparently been posted by a Diana Pie, which struck her as a strange and unusual surname. Yet, she pulled it out and brought it in with her.

What she found in the package includes a set of tubes, the back door and enchanted to give her the specific form of the one she chose to insert.

What Diana would do, once the tube was inserted, and how she was to react is a shock and surprise to her. By chance; her name is Diana.

Last night, Twilight went to a party.

Today she woke up.

Now she wants to kill Pinkie.

Twilight improves upon the portal mirror to allow her and her friends to see alternate universes. They quickly learn things that may strain their current relationship with Rainbow Dash.
