This story is a sequel to A Phoenix Beyond the Veil - The Philospher's Stone

Well over a year after a calibration fault in the mirror portal sent Sunset Shimmer to a world she had not planned for, she continues learning the magic of this new world. Between diplomatic overtures and magical endeavors, new complications arise.

Once more, Hogwarts opens its doors for young witches and wizards, unaware of an ancient threat slumbering beneath the school. Will it be awakened?

NOTE: As of right now, I find myself burned out on writing this story. The continuity introduces too many little mistakes and things add up. I may eventually rewrite the entire series and hopefully do a better job of it, but for now this is all there is.

Displeased with her tutelage under the princess of the sun, Sunset Shimmer leaves through a mirror deep within the vaults of Canterlot. With her trusty companion Philomena by her side, Sunset steps into a new world. But not the one the book said it would be. A small calibration error will leave two worlds of magic irrevocably changed.

A crossover with the Harry Potter books and a Sunset in Hogwarts story.

As rationales go, you shouldn't allow first-year Gifted School students to have a project fair for the same reason you don't test dynamite by kicking it into the nearest wall. But since everypony else has moved on, the current school staff decided to show Celestia just how they were going to repeat the same old mistake. Because while this day may host ideas waiting for their time to come, that time is not now.

No matter how much anypony wants it to be.

Realistically, those whose parties wake a Princess from her slumber should expect consequences. But Celestia simply wants to get some sleep, and so her chosen solution is a simple one: deal with it through not dealing with it. It's quick, easy, and sends the problem down the road.

On an equally realistic note, a Princess who decides to make consequences into somepony else's problem should probably expect a few of her own.

Return To Sender. Address Extremely Known.

All Mr. Rich wanted was a court-arranged signed promise stating that Rainbow wouldn't practice stunts over Barnyard Bargains any more. But judges are fickle creatures, and so the ruling put her in the aisles. Working off the damages while supposedly learning some respect for the store itself.

She wants to be a good employee. She's dedicating herself to this.

It's odd how all of Rainbow's interests seem to end in that one crater the same way.

There's nothing quite like a bad idea whose time has come. With ponies, all it can take is one charismatic idiot with an audience: for cattle, the 'charisma' part is optional. The young bulls among Applejack's tenants have gotten ahold of a truly bad idea, and all she wants to do is stop it before anyone really gets hurt.

Which means she's taking on the power of hormonal idiocy.

...it's probably time to bring in a friend.

She became aware in the woods. She has no memories, her senses are disturbingly vague. Her body is injured- and unfamiliar. She's found, of course- that's the whole point of the story.
So, where did she come from? Why is it so hard for her to avoid breaking things? Can Equestria survive her attempts to start a new life? And how on Equus is she so good at Hoofball?

Inspired, in part, by Azure Memories.

An ancient war machine is awakened by an enemy strike- but can it figure out what's really going on, or will it destroy the world first?

Many thanks to LostArchivist for help with editing and ideas!

Rewrite began 3/17/19.

Wait a minute. I'm featured? I wonder when that started...

Cancelled 9/19/19. It's just... too broken. I may rewrite at some point.

She, and all her passengers, spent two months traveling across the featureless plains of nothingness, as the final hope for all mankind.
But before her fusion plants run out of fuel, a new hope is spotted: An exit.
Now, she escapes- and nothing, not herself, not the citizens of the world she's escaping to, knows exactly what's coming.

Would you believe it if I told you this story was inspired by the realization that one of my other stories made the feature box?

... Hiatus because I have no clue where the plot should go, or if I should just finish it off as a one-shot instead.

One might consider a battle with an Alicorn to be a lost cause. He didn't, and if it wasn't for his eagerness to fight back, he might actually have won. But she wins, and saves Equestria once again.

But that's not the important part.

For what is important, nopony even knows it's there to be important, save the Alicorn herself and any who forget to specify 'summary' when asking the simple question of how the battle went.

Cancelled for lack of a plot.
