After hearing that some of The Rainbooms hang out in the Everfree Amusement Park, The Dazzlings head there with hopes of sabotaging their arch rivals, What could possibly go wrong?

After the events of Rainbow Rocks, Sonata Dusk find herself in a sticky situation, she doesn't have money so she gets a job at Sugarcube Corner and finds herself entangled in the life of the one girl who helped stop the Dazzling's plans.

It has been weeks since the defeat of the Dazzlings, and Sunset Shimmer's friendships have only gotten stronger. Whilst finally relaxing in the times of peace, Sunset discovers an old enemy: Sonata Dusk. Strangely alone and apparently homeless, Sonata's luck seems to be at its all time low.
Seeing a little of herself in the former siren, Sunset embarks on a mission to help Sonata find friendship.

The Dazzlings head to Donut Joe's to lick their wounds after the Battle of the Bands. Unfortunately, they run into the ones who defeated them and strike up a conversation that brings up old memories.

After their defeat, the Dazzlings have disappeared. When they hide from Canterlot High and other people, they blame each other for their loss. Saddened, Sonata Dusk flees from the others. Aria Blaze stomps off after a fight, and Adagio looks for guidance.

Author's Note: There will NOT be a sequel. I am touching up on the ending of the story to make up for this.

The Dazzlings are in poverty. While Adagio sleeps, Aria tries to comfort a sad Sonata.

Also... don't pretend it's the most imaginative name Toho has every made)
