For Rarity, the words left unsaid are often most meaningful. A life of standards and a sense of class has led her to assume that breaking these standards are wrong, and that reining in one's true emotions is a path to success.

However, something has been keeping her up at night and threatening to break the mold she has lived by throughout her life. Which will crack first, her presumed lifestyle or herself?

After so much preparation, the Grand Galloping Gala is here at last! How will its attendants from Ponyville fare... and most importantly, will Rarity find true love? (An AU alternative to the canon Gala... written before the Gala. Ahhh, naivete.)

After a particularly taxing tour of duty outside Equestria, Twilight is more than happy to be returning to Ponyville for a well-deserved rest. But six months away is a long time, and the reunion with one particular pony proves capable of sending her life in a direction she wouldn't dare to dream of, both for the better and for the worse.

One day, Rarity asks Twilight for assistance in finding a Special Somepony. Twilight is more than happy to oblige her friend...

...except for the fact that Twilight secretly has a crush on her. Hilarity and awkwardness soon follows.

It's a night at the bar for the Elements of Harmony. Rarity tries to find a drink suitably classy for herself and ends up presenting Twilight with an interesting proposition.

This is presented in a revised form, as there some rather obvious problems with the original writing. I suppose that's what writing a story in 30 minutes will do to you.

Twilight Sparkle and her student Mysteria go to the annual Winter Solstice in Canterlot. Great changes are afoot however, and they become swept up in a dark plot with grand ambitions.

Spike's up to something, and Twilight's determined to find out what. But when she finds out, will she be able to see her Number One Assistant in the same way ever again?

No matter what we do, we always leave an impression. After using her magical prowess to save Ponyville once again, Twilight is confronted by an angry mother whose filly ran off to use magic and turned up dead. Unable to handle the painful confrontation, the lavender unicorn seeks shelter in solitude. However, Applejack isn't ready to allow her friend to tear herself away from her life in Ponyville and away from herself. Can Applejack save Twilight from herself or will she come back empty hoofed?

Eternal, violent, mindless and bloodthirsty war. It was during the Age of the Old One's, or in human terms Horus Heresy. To make dreams about creating a utopia for their fellow ponies the Princesses of the Sun and the Moon unleashed a powerful spell that covered Equestria and Moon, hiding them from the war. The Royal Sisters buried the memory about the universe and they create harmony. But the spell wasn't powerful enough to hold for eternity, and even the Princesses effort didn't help. Probably one of the biggest manifestations of power in the entire universe vanished, revealing a peaceful nation of colorful, speaking ponies to the grim darkness of a galaxy wide war. It would be the end for Equestria, but Princess Luna managed to convince General Anders from the Imperial Guard, and Equestria joined the Imperium of Mankind. But to do this, the Princess of the Moon made a sacrifice that cast thousands of ponies into the oblivion.

That, was how The First and Only was born.

Applejack heard the whine of Gaunt’s chainsword as the commissar leapt up the scaling ladder nailed into the trench wall above the firestep and yelled to his soldiers.

“Ponies of Equestria! Do you want to live forever?”

Their reply, loud and raucous, was lost in the barrage of shells. But Ibram Gaunt knew what they had said. Weapons blazing, Gaunt’s Ghosts went over the top and blasted their way towards glory, death or whatever else awaited them in the smoke.

Forget the power of kindness and goodness, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of friendship and magic, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods
