Becoming the Spirit of Harmony has given Sunset Shimmer more senses than she knows what to do with, which is why she keeps most of them out of her mostly-human self. That said, it's an opt-out process; she can't leave out something she didn't know she had.

Starlight Glimmer has the forgiveness, love, support and friendship of Twilight Sparkle and her friends. The townsponies of Our Town had welcomed her back and helped her rebuild her life anew, just as she had endeavored to return the favor and make up for past mistakes.

But in all the happiness that surrounds her, Starlight still sees a shadow of what could have been, and more importantly, what she caused to happen in other versions of her world.

Now she has to decide: should she stay home—safe—or face her legacy?

For generations, humanity has dreamed of discovering intelligent life out in the stars. To say that ending that search in downtown Pasadena was a surprise would be an understatement.

Princess Luna had herself a simple mission: Track Twilight Sparkle and her friends through a malfunctioning portal to Earth, and get them out without being noticed. Luna had no desire to establish permanent relations, or even to stay and talk. After all, both princesses were convinced from previous experience that humans were nothing but trouble.

It appears that both parties have much to learn about each other.

Present-day follow-up to "The Best of All Possible Worlds". "Alternate Universe" tag is because it pretty quickly diverges from Season Two continuity.

This is a far-flung side story based in a metaverse I’m working on. My inspiration was this overwhelmingly cute Derpy pic. She’s so cuddly-looking, I suddenly wanted to write a story with lots of Derpy cuddling. This is what came of that. ... Yeah, I dunno why it came out the way it did, either…I write weird stuff.

A very strange, pseudo-technical science fiction story, with an OC human and Derpy Hooves. Dark, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. The Prologue and Report sections are probably rather awful to get through unless you’re a crazy science & science fiction geek like me, but the Agent Commentary explains some of the more important parts. Hopefully the main ‘story’ part of it, the Observation Log, makes up for it.

This is not the first piece I've written, but it's the first I'm submitting.

This story is a sequel to A Mad Glimmer

The plan had been perfect, taking everything from Twilight Sparkle and trapping her in a no-win situation. Then Twilight showed Starlight the alleged consequences of her actions.

But there's a bit more to the story. Starlight Glimmer has paid a heavy price, but there's one more debt to call in.

After all, Discord doesn't make idle threats.

Story contains spoilers for the Season 5 finale, potentially disturbing imagery, and nuts. Story still does not contain Nikita Khrushchev or shoes.

Twilight Sparkle has always admired Princess Celestia. Her fortitude, her wisdom, her eternal grace and love for all her subjects. Twilight has often fantasized about what it would be like to be in Princess Celestia's horseshoes. She never imagined those fantasies would come true.

Her discovery resurrects a secret from her past, one she has only shared with Princess Celestia. When Twilight learns of the price required to return things to normal, she is left with an impossible choice.
