Appleloosa. A town built to withstand anything. But when mysterious visitors rob them of their very livelihood, Spitfire and Big Macintosh have to work together to save the town, as well as their developing friendship.

A/N: Story I just sort of came up with. I really like westerns, and Appleloosa seems like a great setting. Shipping is happening (wanted to see a change of pace in it), as well as violence (What'd you expect, it's a western.). Enjoy!

For Ponyville's premier nurse, life is anything but slow - a full-time job, a budding relationship with Big Macintosh, and her own friends and family often leave Redheart's hooves full, and it's all she can do to catch a break.

Caramel has had feelings for Applejack ever since their chance encounter in Manehattan. By bizarre happenstance, Caramel arrives at Sweet Apple Acres. Years later, his feelings are still strong, and it isn't until after some encouragement from Mac that spurs Caramel to make his move.

A certain pony also has Big Macintosh's heart. This one is the hyperactive and random Pinkie Pie.

Fluttershy is in love with Big Mac, there's no denying it any longer. She knows he must feel something too, because they've gone on a few 'dates' before.
However, being Fluttershy, she's had no luck in telling him how she really feels. Meanwhile, Big Mac is falling in love with Twilight, and breaks up whatever it was he had with Fluttershy.
This leaves her devasted, and furious at Twilight for not immediately turning him down.
Will things work out between these three ponies, or has their friendship (or more than just that?) reached its end?

Ponies have left behind the Equestria-That-Once-Was, and have taken to the vast expanse of space to find a new place.

Applebloom and Diamond Tiara aren't friends. Applebloom thinks Diamond Tiara is nothing more than a bratty and snobby bully; while Diamond Tiara thinks that Applebloom is nothing else but a hick, blank flank.

After they fight during the last day of class, they must learn to love and tolerate (in the least bit tolerate) each other lest they wish to work in Sweet Apple Acres all their lives, but will they?

War has errupted in Equestria and a call to arms has been announced to all the land, to serve in Celestia's Army. Amongst the thousands are the local residences of Ponyville and Appleloosa who volunteer for a new branch of the army called the Colt Volunteer Battalions, nicknamed Coltgrenadiers by the officers who lead them. As the war progress, more ponies are needed to serve and a draft is established, and amoungst the names are some familiar faces, along with new ones.
