Caramel has had feelings for Applejack ever since their chance encounter in Manehattan. By bizarre happenstance, Caramel arrives at Sweet Apple Acres. Years later, his feelings are still strong, and it isn't until after some encouragement from Mac that spurs Caramel to make his move.
A certain pony also has Big Macintosh's heart. This one is the hyperactive and random Pinkie Pie.

Caramel x Applejack and Pinkintosh shipping. I've noticed that when it comes to Caramel half the community make him a member of the Apple family and half don't. I can see the reasons for not making him an Apple. He doesn't have an accent, his mark isn't apple related and Caramel can mean other things not just Apples, plus during the Apple family reunion in the first episode Applejack said Caramel and pointed at a mare, so yeah like I said the name Caramel is very vague. - Sorry for getting to analytical.
While I like CaramelJack and I really like the story, Mel comes off a little stalkerish.
As for Pinkie x Mac, it's one of my favorites in terms of rare shipping pairs. I liked this fic since I saw it on Deviant Art.

Oh wow, my mistake apparently there are 2 different ponies that go by the name Caramel, didn't help they are both earth ponies.
The Carmel in the story I confused with Caramel Apple fromEpisode 1 Season 1
It also did help that a few fics here on this website took the Station Caramel as an Apple in the story.

So far, I'm liking this story alot. Gonna say that I haven't seen a Pinkie X Macintosh fic yet and new ideas like that are always welcome, in my book. Looking forward to the rest of the story!

Although the way you presented this makes it seem like they're unrelated, an OC would've been maybe a better choice. Worthy a thumb and fav, though.
Though the writing is a bit dry for my taste, it did remind me of Ernest Hemingway. Straight and to the point, no bothering using extra adjectives.
Admittedly, this was pretty good. A marketable improvement from the first chapter. Still very dry though, in my opinion. And, though the characters were mostly in character, I couldn't help but feel that's not what they would say in exactly that situation. The pacing also needs work, it slows down and speeds up almost randomly. Like I said, still worth a thumb and fav, but take this as a challenge to make this one of the best Pinkintosh ships out there.

Two wonderful and well told stories in one package. Carmel keeping the photo was precious. Pinkie throwing the party just for Mac was in character and did a wonderful job of setting up the later events.
