When sorting through a horde of ancient artefacts Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash accidentally activate the magical powers of a pair of bracelets which force the wearers to be in constant physical contact with one another. Stuck together until Twilight manages to find a way to remove the bracelets, the shy and timid pegasus must cope with re-emerging feelings, while the athletic and rash pegasus must cope with the various antics of a bunny rabbit out to get her.

The Eleventh Doctor (aka Matt Smith) is bumbling about in his Tardis when a crazy timey-wimey happening finds him in Equestria, a land from a children's cartoon. Despite the idea that being in the world of TV ought to be impossible, he's found himself turned into a bowtie-wearing pony in a pleasant little town known as Ponyville. What's more, the people there won't stop calling him Doctor Whooves! In order to get bet back into his own Time Lord form and out of the impossible world of My Little Pony, he may or may not have to make some new friends, fight some villains and pull out his "savior of the universe act." Geronimo!

This is a different take on Doctor Whooves, and also a sleep-deprived Doctor Who/MLP crossover idea I got in the very early hours of the morning so it could easily be rubbish. It's not meant to be terribly serious, but it's also my first fic so go easy on me. More characters could come and the rating could possibly change.

Hopes. Dreams. Aspirations. They're what everyone survives, and even thrives, on. What happens, then, when hopes and dreams are dashed? When something so monumentally destructive and life-changing occurs, and dreams, hopes, even ponies' lives are thrown into turmoil, where can solace be found? It's been two months since Twilight and Big Macintosh started dating, and what a wonderful two months it's been. As their relationship blooms, Twilight finds out through Applejack that not all of the Apple family may be keen on a relationship that includes one of their own kin, and a unicorn. Worried about their future together, Twilight asks Big Macintosh for the biggest favor she can think of...to visit his entire family, and see if they can't break old traditions.

This is the sequel to Sparkling Cider, my first fan-fiction. It isn't necessary to have read Sparkling Cider to understand Old Traditions, but it certainly wouldn't hurt!

Author's Note: I wanted to do something different with the Octavia/Vinyl Scratch pairing. In all the stories I've read, Tavi was the reserved, more quiet one while Vinyl was the party girl. But what if it were the other way around? What if Vinyl was the more reserved one and Tavi the wild girl? This is my attempt to expand on that idea.
