A young boy in the city dreams of seeing the stars through the smog. Far away, somepony hears his dreams.

Speedwrite on a whim after having a fleeting thought upon sending a friend a picture of the night sky I took while on vacation once. Well, if you can call about three, four, hours a speedwrite.

With the end of the reign of the Two Sisters, Celestia and Luna decide to raise the sun and moon together in one final solar eclipse. Where it once represented the rebellion of the moon against the sun, it would now represent a display of stellar beauty where the sun and moon rise together in harmony. It would mark the transition to a new time of peace for Equestria, under Princess Twilight.

Too bad they forgot to notify Twilight about this. Or anypony else for that matter.

This will end well.

Anon-a-Miss has struck and Sunset Shimmer just has to get away from it all. Fortunately, help has arrived to whisk her away from all her problems, as she indulges in one of her passions

Isolated from her friends and taken prisoner in the middle of a war, Twilight must deal with the very real dangers of being percieved as an enemy as well as the nightmares of her arrival on 'Earth'. Can she overcome her own fears and the fears of her captors? Will the wayward unicorn's assistance be a boon or a curse to the 'humans?' Most importantly, will she ever find her way home?

"In short, it's a story of friendship and plasma rifles, with the emphasis on the friendship. The characters are well written, the XCOM setting is fleshed out very well, and the story is compelling. If you love XCOM, you'll love the story, but even if you've never heard of it, it's more than worth giving the first 3 chapters a read.

There's excellent action later on, but the real strength lies in the collision between the friendly and naive world of Twilight Sparkle and the desperate world of humans fighting a losing war for survival and willing to do anything to turn the tide."

My attempt at a more serious 'Luna meets Neil Armstrong' storyline. What would really happen, both on the moon and on Earth? Inspired by 'The Eagle has Landed' by CyanBlackStone.

Princess Luna has found herself on a very different moon after some strange force interfered with her banishment. She doesn't know what the metal objects that keep orbiting and sometimes landing there are, but she wants to find out. Meanwhile, Neil Armstrong believes that being the first man on the moon will be the crowning achievement of his life. Hoo boy, is he ever in for a surprise.

When the world before the Whiteouts and After continued to be lit in flames, a man called by many went by the title "the Whiteout Survivor" to become the true challenger of the world, and of the ponies.

Not long after Twilight Sparkle being crowned as a princess and risen to Alicornhood, she moved to Canterlot to help spark a new golden age for Equestria. However, when she gets there, she notice that the other princesses are acting strangely and saying that Equestria will have a new ruler: Queen Chrysalis.

Shocked, she try to warn everyone and try to snap the princesses to their senses. But... She is too late. Chrysalis was there and is already prepared to add Twilight to her new kingdom.

A great many ponies made a great many mistakes leading up to the Canterlot Wedding.

Their biggest was assuming Cadance was the only target.

The Canterlot Wedding was two weeks ago. Celestia has not been seen in public since. She has a secret--something dark and terrible--something that could bring down all of Equestria.

Celestia is Changing. And only Twilight and Rarity can help...

Taken anyway, the ponies and humans of the towns have had to learn to work together with each other and new allies to survive on Singularity's planet. Now, nearing the one year anniversary of restored contact with Eqqus and Earth, window facilities large enough for civilian use are online and friends and family left behind are able to make contact. But new contact also comes from an unexpected source, and new friends may bear tidings of new dangers as well...
