It can be hard not fitting in with others, you can feel alienated in so many ways and it’s hard to find others who feel the same as you do.

Anonymous is a literal alien to the ponies of Equestria, and Maudilina Daisy Pie’s personality and interests alienate her from almost all of the ponies she knows.

These two share a simple moment together on a hill, understanding each other’s struggles.

"I'm not the best at putting my feelings into words... Meet me on the roof after school. I need to tell you something. If I don't, I'll regret it for the rest of my life."

"Please don't leave me waiting..."

The land of Equestria was always one filled with light and positivity, but the darkness has been amassing, the Sin, embodiments of the evil of ponies' hearts and souls, have struck, many ponies have died, and only 4 centers of civilization remain, Canterlot, Ponyville, Bearussia, and Neigh York, the last vestiges of hope for ponykind, and they are mere motes of substance waiting to be consumed.

Princess Luna, a powerful mare who has seen first-hoof into the abyss of darkness and evil, has used her and her sister Celestia's magic to summon warriors of light, heroes that will save the land of Equestria.

She was expecting 1, 2, maybe 3 tops, and if Lady Luck was on her side, 4, but she received, not 5 or even 6, but 15 fighters to help this task.

That's not what was surprising about them, what was surprising about them was that they were not even ponies.

Rainbow Dash isn't having a good day.
She woke up lost, in a body that clearly isn't hers, no memory of how she got where she is, and she's being chased by creatures from the depths of Tartarus. Super fun.

Her team has been sent into Forever Fall on their first solo mission, to investigate recent sightings of Grimm. A bit low-key, but Team RWBY has needed the break since the last fight with the White Fang.
She's investigating some tracks when she hears a scream echo through the forest.

What she finds will change their lives forever.
