After Jean-Luc Picard dies, Q goes into a fit of despair and begins to wander the universe in search of a new purpose. Having considered Jean-Luc his 'project', he craves a new one, but worries that he might never find anything nearly as captivating.

Then he finds a Class M planet that holds a bizarre country. Equestria. Jean-Luc would have loved it, he's sure...

Taking it upon himself to judge the pony species' right to existence, he displays himself to the masses as a draconequus, not realising that the beast is known in this world as a god of chaos.

So begins the dawn of the rule of Discord.

NOTE: This is a Q-becoming-Discord deal, just to clear that up.

Celestia foresees a ruinous, dystopian future that will ultimately result from the untimely death of the Element of Magic: a future in which the world has become a frozen wasteland, and Discord has taken up uncontested rule of Equestria. Who is sending these visions, and how can Twilight possibly stop a future in which she is dead and gone? The answers will take our heroes on a journey through the streams of time itself, and unlock potential unseen by mortal eyes...

*On temporary hiatus while I re-evaluate the story's pacing. This concept could be far grander and more sweeping than what I've presented thus far, and I don't want to sell it short. Also: with the announcement of It's About Time, apparently time travel or some variant of it is officially canon. Suddenly I don't feel so bizarre writing this thing.

A student in service to the Princesses continues his research on the elusive race called draconniquis, and he makes remarkable discoveries that will shake his world. When fate conspires against him he learns why Discord is how he is...

In an alternate reality, Discord found his love of chaos came in handy for babysitting young foals. For two thousand years, since he and the princess' were kids, he's babysat nearly everyone in Equestria. Now he's babysitting the cutie mark crusaders, and while he does he recounts with them his many babysitting jobs of your favorite characters as fillies, one by one.

The balance was lost eons ago when fear and anger drove two friends apart. Recent events have lead to Equestrian secrets coming to light, and Twilight Sparkle must recover what has been lost by rejoining two halves of an eternal whole, changing Equestria forever.

When Rainbow Dash finds herself lost in a new and unfamiliar village, she reaches out to a certain lavender-hued stranger for help. But to Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash is no stranger; at least until she notice her strange new voice, a lack of wings, and a fondness of the word ‘darling’. Intrigued by the uncanny looks to one of her best friends, she decides to lend the newcomer a helping hoof, but things go from weird to weirder when Pinkie Pie happily announces that she too has met her lookalike. Twilight Sparkle and her friends take it upon themselves to find out the truth behind this mystery: who are these doppelgangers? Could there really be another Ponyville out there? And what does it all have to do with Discord’s lost legacy?

After Discord's first victory over the Elements of Harmony, he decides to fix the worlds new lack of his kind. He brings a new Draconequus into Equestria, even if he had to bend the rules of dimensionary travel. He brings the new knocked out being which was knocked out in their world. After turning this person into a Draconequus will he survive even after Discord is turned to stone leaving him alone with only a case and a guide book?

During a battle with Discord, a mishap occurred when Q and Discord use their power at the same time, sending the manes 6 to the Enterprise-D, from there Captain Picard and the crew is faced with a new threat, changing the history The Next Generation's universe as we know it. Rarity's exploits in "Sweet and Elite" set in motion a chain of events that will find the unicorn dressmaker taking part in the greatest airship race in the world, the Alicorn's Cup. Excitement will give way to terror, as Rarity soon finds herself the victim of a plot against Equestria, and shipwrecked far from home with her least favorite stallion, the boorish Prince Blueblood.
