Nighmare Moon was banished for one thousand years. She had more than enough time to plan her return. Every aspect was intricately planned down to the letter, for maximum dramatic effect to instil sufficient terror in her future subjects that they would bow down without question.

At least, that was how the plan was supposed to go.

The original speedwrite (in author's notes) was written for the Quills and Sofa's "Fiddlesticks" Speedwrite Contest, on Sep 9, 2023. This version was polished for publish since then.

A question that has plagued philosophical ponies for... well just over a decade since Princess Cadance was granted the title. Deep Thinker, a member of the guard, is one such pony. Unfortunately whilst thinking on it he states his conclusion out loud, behind the very Princesses themselves.

Celestia has invented the dollar, equal to 100 bits, to make it easier for ponies to lug money around Equestria. However, she did not take Lunas feelings into account when only placing her own face on the bill. Sisterly Squabbles ensue as Luna is not happy with the arrangement.

Sunset is a roving part-timer, and Adagio sings on Whotube for tips. The pair are never more than a month from eviction, so when a shady party center offers Sunset a holiday bonus to work Christmas Eve it’s both too good to refuse… and too good to be true.

Sunset Shimmer ventures through the Mirror for the first time, and is shocked at the world she enters. Everything is different, and yet, familiar to her. The young twelve year old girl must make quick decisions amongst the guilt and anger she bears after departing from the world she once called home.

Torque Wrench does a favor for Kerfuffle in her hour of need. Not that it means they're friends or anything. Just a little engineering project, don'tcha know.

A little story that takes place before the Mane 6 arrive in Hope Hollow for the events of Rainbow Roadtrip. (The first Kerfuffle or Torque story on Fimfiction!)

Rainbow Dash, on her way out from school, notices that one person didn't come out yet, despite the time since the bell rang. Perhaps against her better judgement, she goes back in to keep Sunset Shimmer from making a horrible mistake.
Tensions rise, loyalty is tested, and perhaps, a broken soul can be fixed.

When Sonata Dusk is found murdered in a backalley, the other sirens find themselves alone and friendless, except for perhaps one person. Sunset Shimmer, attempting to befriend them at school, feels for their loss, and tries to console them. Meanwhile, a murderer with an apparent grudge against the Dazzlings is still on the loose.

A bite sized story in which Trixie and Starlight argue over who gets custody of the TV remote.

I came up with the idea for this story while rewatching season 6 of FiM! I've always loved the pairing of Trixie and Starlight, and them arguing over mundane stuff as a couple just seemed too cute to not write about at the time.
