Although an unlikely pair to their friends, Gilda Grimfeather and Sunset Shimmer have been dating for almost a year. Both brash, confident, and straightforward souls, Gilda and Sunset stuck fast to one another not long after the Fall Formal. Now with much of summer having passed and the August heat beating down on them, Gilda finally convinced Sunset to move out of her little makeshift home in the third story office of an abandoned warehouse and into Gilda's flat with her in the Ponyville Commons before the onset of another brutal Canterlot winter in the unheated office she lived in.

But dating, even long term, is a very different beast from living together, and the prospect has tempers running a little high for both of the girls. Bad habits and little resentments alike flare as they do their level best to get Sunset's home cleared out.

Strongly influenced by the story Featherfall, as well as my deep love of hilariously out of place crackships, this is my submission for Oroboro's Sunset Shipping Contest. Show some love for my best girls, Sunset and Gilda.

Three weeks after "Newbie Dash", Rainbow Dash finally hears the story of how Spitfire got a nickname she doesn't like to say out loud. I'm sure you've seen like 10 of these by now, but an acquaintance supplied a gag I couldn't resist. Rated Teen for mild language and one sexual reference.

The whole school saw Sunset Shimmer's demonic form get hit by the Elements of Harmony, and half a second later she was in a smoking crater in the ground, sobbing and repentant. From Sunset's perspective, her change of heart took a bit more time.

Genre is... not well-suited but to be perfectly honest that's the closest it's gonna get. Think of it as a missing scene.

This story is a sequel to Grimoire

Hoping to make new friends, Twilight decides to bunk with another student again this year, but gets more than she bargained for when she is placed in the same room as a new (but familiar) student that always seems brings out the worst in her.

A competition of wizardry is taking place on an island off the coast of Equestria. Magicians are expected to bring their personal Grimoires, comprised of a unique combination of spells gathered from various sources. Out of desperation, Trixie sneaks aboard the ferry uninvited and challenges Twilight immediately after the competition begins, utterly unprepared to pay the toll such a contest demands.

King Sombra has been brought back to life once again—only this time, he doesn’t have his horn. Weak without it and withering away day by day, Sombra sets out for the Crystal Empire to find his missing piece, chaperoned by the downtrodden and endlessly kind Troubleshoes Clyde.

They’d better hurry. Twilight Sparkle has caught wind of Sombra’s return, and she’s getting awfully tired of destroying him.

Luna’s reservations and lack of consent is not relevant. She must perform her duty because the law must be obeyed. Refusing to please ponies with her mouth would be a criminal act punishable by another banishment to the moon.

This story is written for children between the ages of 5 and 10 who struggle with public speaking.

This story penetrated and entered Imposing Sovereigns IV, using the prompt Unorthodoxy.

These events tell a story from the past, one where the girl who ran away from her home, her world, and for her lack of good judgment, ends up in a seemingly cursed forest.

Sunset Shimmer was getting ready for bed like she did every night and was casually wishing that she wanted to be a pony again. It was a thought that crossed her mind from time to time so she hadn't really thought much about it but the next day she discovers that that quick wish had come true. Now she and her friends have to figure out what happened and how to fix it. Meanwhile Sunset is becoming more and more comfortable in her pony body and she starts to wonder should they fix this?
