    Recipe: Black and Tan with Tannins, Black

    Occasionally I'll invent a food or drink for The Only Mark that Matters and then wonder how well it would work in real life. I'm going to occasionally use this blog to post attempts to recreate recipes from the story.

    First up is the Black and Tan with Tannins, Black, from chapter 60: The Community. It's a haphazard mixture of dark beer, light beer, red wine, and coffee. Radish wasn't impressed.

    Table of original characters

    One of my goals in The Only Mark That Matters is to build a cast of original characters, especially around the palace, for Radish to interact with. To help the reader keep track of them all, I've started this handy table. Some of these characters may only get referenced in dialogue a single time, and some of them may show up again in the future.
