A competition of wizardry is taking place on an island off the coast of Equestria. Magicians are expected to bring their personal Grimoires, comprised of a unique combination of spells gathered from various sources. Out of desperation, Trixie sneaks aboard the ferry uninvited and challenges Twilight immediately after the competition begins, utterly unprepared to pay the toll such a contest demands.
