While enjoying the night sky,Twilight Sparkle discovers a friend in need. What does this entail for her friend and herself? Could this reveal a side of herself she's never explored and strange feeling arising? Only time will tell.

Desc- Well...obviously the Gala wasn't so great for everypony...but I always wondered why they didn't include a certain Moon Goddess in at least the last episode of the season, ya know? Well, if I had it my way (and it wasn't supposed to be a kid's show, primarily, hehe...) our favorite and little-known-of Alicorn would have come to at least bring the spirits up of miss Sparkle!...but I can't have it my way, so I resort to entertaining you with this story of mine. Enjoy.
NOTE, Written BEFORE "Luna Eclipsed" episode was released, so...yeah. Keep that in mind.

It's April 1st and Princess Luna gets some help to make up for all the years of pranking she's missed.

Almost two years after first arriving in Ponyville, Twilight suddenly receives word that her 'field studies' must soon come to an end. Needing to prepare a final report for the Princess, Twilight must collect all the wisdom she has gathered from being with her closest friends in an attempt to truly understand the Elements, true friendship, and the nature of magic. However, as she plunges herself deeper into the subject, Twilight begins to realize that the underpinnings of their friendship is far more complex than anyone, even Princess Celestia, ever knew.

Upon the sun rising, the residents of Equestria think today is going to be an ordinary day, something strange is coming. Luna can feel it but when questioning her sister about the strange feelings she was getting, she is met with an emotional sister who wishes to keep a certain something about her past secret.

These events will shake Equestria to it's core.

An ancient evil has awoken after millennium of slumber. A dark shadow from the very beginnings of Equestria itself threatens to blanket the lands in a darkness the likes of which no living pony has seen before. It falls to Twilight Sparkle and her stalwart friends to hold the line, to stand tall least their world is torn down around them.

Ponies throughout all of Equestria have shown some resistance against Luna's return to her throne. She doesn't seem to blame them, and has lately been growing depressed. Some of the radical groups in the society have publicly protested, some rioted, and some may go that extra step further...

This story is also currently on hiatus. I don't exactly have any ideas to continue this story on, so hopefully, if I take a break from it, new ideas will slowly come to me. I'm sorry for those who were anticipating new chapters, but unfortunately they won't be coming soon. :C

When the mane six start taking lessons about night from Luna, they never thought they'd have to walk among wolves, grow poisonous light, collect stardust and moondust, or be trapped in a whole other kingdom! With the help of friendship, the seven ponies learn more about the enchanted nights then they'd ever had expected to learn.

All this happens while Princess Celestia slowly grows angrier because of Twilight falling behind on her regular studies. Will Celestia learn about the night and accept it, or will she banish Princess Luna again?

Hello~~!! I changed the story a little so that I could continue it as an actual story. I hope no one's mad ^^' and sorry for the slight feud between the sisters, I didn't want to do it like this but it was the only idea I had.. Again sorry~~

It has been almost a year since Luna is back.
And Celestia doesn't have a clue,
that she is planning a surprise attack.
What daft situations could ensue?
