During a party celebrating the anniversary of Nightmare Moon's defeat, an unexpected letter from the princess turns Twilight Sparkle's entire world upside down, leaving her to try and find meaning in a life that she now knows has been nothing but a lie.

Twilight Sparkle is invited by Cheerilee to teach the children about magic, the different types of magic each pony has, and the very basics of how it all works. As Twilight is getting started, what appears to be a ghost starts haunting the schoolhouse; mayhem ensues, and each of the lessons in Twilight's lecture must be used to clean things up and send it home.

When an ancient threat returns to Equestria, Princess Celestia and Luna are forced out of their position as the evil being takes over with a plan to 'rebuild' the world. With Celestia wounded, and Luna inexperienced, can the two princesses find a way to defeat this evil? And in dark times, can someponies find happiness and love that they otherwise wouldn't have?

This story will be written from multiple perspectives with a number of shippings, and some comedy here and there.

This is my first pony fic, and my first writing of any kind in a few years, so I hope you enjoy it!

The Doctoress avoids apples from an aspiring Applebuck. And in a library across town, six stallions join their forces as they try to decipher the appearance of filly look-alikes of themselves around Ponyville!

A year has passed since the fall of Nightmare Moon, but Princess Luna is still hiding from the public. Celestia, tired of her sister's behaviour, sends her to Ponyville to help Twilight Sparkle and her friends with the plans for the Grand Galloping Gala. Little do they all know, the plan is for them to form bands and perform at the event!
