Twilight, with the help of her friends, will finally tell her feelings for the princess using a song

Celestia takes a day off and visits her faithful student. A bit of pranking and drunken hijinks follow.

"War is no reason to end a friendship..."

Equestria, now torn into factions, each relying on tactics and sneaking agents in a constant war, is not what it used to be. There used to be flowers, peace, and the friendship all ponies shared amongst one another, but that was gone too, after individual areas began to want independence and tried to break off. In an attempt to create the perfect squad, the Harmony Operation was enacted so that they one day could restore peace to this forsaken land that was once so perfect and serene. These are the adventures of the mane six characters and their mission to restore Equestria, all the while meeting new and old friends alike.

Twilight Sparkle and her friends lived long, happy, and distinguished lives. Now, reunited in death, they learn the true nature of Equestria and the lands beyond and must face a task greater than any other: becoming gods to a new world.

When Twilight Sparkle and her friends awaken in the Everfree Forest following a spell cast by Twilight, they attempt to find their way home. However, what they stumble on to is more than they could have expected, or imagined, in their wildest Nightmares.

Twilight writes a letter to Princess Celestia.

I wrote this while listening to this.
It also happened to be the inspiration for this tale.
I don't know if the story alone is good enough, but I'm sure this should enhance it.

I'm only marking the characters who make a significant impact on the story. Yes, Celestia isn't in there, but she's the cornerstone of this story.

Anyway, this is a one-off thing. I just found inspiration to write it, and I wrote it in about two hours. I'll even admit: I cried myself as I wrote it.

ZULU 0941 24 DEC 2011: After mulling it over for a while, and taking ideas from multiple users (as well as my own - I don't just steal others' ideas, you know), I've decided that I can continue this, and at some point I hopefully will. However, I've put it "On Hiatus" so it's easy to see when I do continue it. I reckon I'll get two or three other things out of the way first, and I need time to come up with more to it. Look forward to it!

Luna finds out about Pip's life, and decides to adopt him. This leads to her going to Ponyville much more often, and seeing more familiar faces. Feelings that she can't explain begins to develop in her.

Twilight wakes up due to an abrupt explosion from what appeared to be Sugarcube Corner. She then decides to investigate. Piecing together the evidence, suspects become more apparent.

Not related to any of my other stories, for the most part. Luna, with her time as twilight's assistant, has grown close to the unicorn, even going so far as to find her as a love interest! But what about her previous plans to serve some justice to her older sister? Will she be able to carry out plans to hurt her love's mentor? Will she be found-out? Or will Twilight be enough to sate Luna's anger?...wait...who says she can't do both at once!?

Celestia is having Luna looking out for Twilight and her friends after receiving some letters, but she wasn't suppose to get involved.
