UPDATE: I thought this one was finished, but with the newest episode i got an idea and i simply HAD to follow it. So i wrote up and put together a little chapter which takes place after the main story. I hope you enjoy!

The way Rainbow Dash felt about her friend AppleJack was something new to her, leaving her feeling pensive, nervous and excited. Will she act on these foreign feelings for her friend? Will her friend reciprocate these feelings? Or will she lose the best friend she has ever had?

Even if she did, things in life are seldom that simple and easy. Rainbow's past "experimental actions" could inadvertently cause her to lose the very mare she fell for head over hooves. So when the past comes knocking at her door again, what will Rainbow Dash do to keep what she fought so hard to get?

That's where Pinkie Pie comes in, ever the defender of her friends possibly budding relationship she goes to great lengths to make sure they get and stay together happily. Though when Pinkie figures out just who she is contending with in trying to protect her friends relationship; she finds herself stretched thin against the vengeful tide that spills forth. How long can she keep them safe from intruding eyes? Read on to find out just what happens...

Hearth's Warming Eve. A day meant for spending time with those closest to you. For Applejack, that means her friends, one of which she has had her eye on for quite some time. Considering an old Hearth's Warming tradition, she decides that now is the time to make her move.

At the graduation ceremony of the School of Friendship, Applejack is suffering from a midlife crisis. It feels like everything is changing all around her, and the apple bucking farm pony can't keep up. However, with a little reminder from her friends, including the School of Friendship's first valedictorians, Applejack is reminded of the important lessons she has learned and the important contribution she and her friends have offered Equestria. Change is important, and it's easier to settle on that when she knows that the future of Equestria is in good hooves (or talons) with The Next Generation.

Applejack is not quite ready for her latest friendship mission.

She has to get sucked through an interdimensional vacuum cleaner, have her entire body re-shaped, and get dumped in an alien world she's only heard about secondhoof from Twilight.

It certainly doesn't help that she has no idea what her mission will be. And since the map only summoned AJ, she has to go alone.

Not that she's scared or anything!

Written in one half hour for a Quills and Sofas PANIC! Authors were given a very specific prompt that fit a very specific genre, then required to NOT write in that genre. This came out of that mess.

It's Hearth's Warming Eve in Ponyville, and everypony is happy. Well, mostly. Fluttershy's plans for spending time with her family were cancelled, but Applejack decides that it would be best if she stayed with Applebloom and herself.

Applejack was bucking apples on the farm. Fluttershy wanted to surprise her wife on their ninth anniversary. Applejack always checked behind her when she bucked a tree, except that one time. Now nopony will ever forget their anniversary.
