Speed Reader may only be a temporary product of a fusion spell brewed by Dash and Twilight, but she's still got the Wonderbolt Barracks to herself for a whole half hour before she splits again. Just long enough to tangle with someone whom her halves would most certainly kick to the curb if either of them were in control.

But they're not in control. Speed Reader is. She can read ponies like books, and Lightning Dust is after something in the archives. Something important.

After a year of (admittedly sporadic) Thursday installments, the five protagonists of the Snippet Series finally stop living their lives in parallel and meet up at a Wonderbolt expo to share in some closure.

This story was a long time coming, and it concludes the storylines most enjoyed by the readers as well as ones most enjoyed by myself.

Befitting an end-of-the year event, I now present four cohesive Snippets for the price of one. I hope they please all of you who've enjoyed the first phase of this ongoing anthology. And for those of you just joining, with this installment you can now read the entire anthology from start to finish.

While taking a break from helping Rarity sew uniforms in the workshop, Sweetie Belle meets a foal about her age. 

Originally written for the Quills and Sofas Random Acts of Kindness 24-hour Speedwrite. The prompt was "There are no strangers; only friends you haven't met."

"This is a Fedora Felt original! Look at this bold stitching! These daring textures. It's a whole new take on western chic! There is no way I would wear it in the grove."

I could still recall those words floating in my head seventy years ago... But here I was, all alone in this isolated farm once again, collecting nuts, feeding squirrels, back to where I started when I was a mere colt. And through that period of time, a lot has slipped away from me. But what stands out from them all, is the one and only gift I've kept sacred until this very day...

This is a story that no one will read. Because the story, like me, has no name. No title. With no title, one can’t discern what could possibly take place in this story. The desert has long attracted thieves, raiders, and opportunists, each eager to plunder the riches of bygone ages. Time and time again, these outsiders need guides to find their treasures.

Sandstone Shine is one such guide. A young Saddle Arabian stallion, this time guiding a curious pony from across the sea. A crystal pony mare named Sapphire Oasis.

This story is a gift for my good friend Ahobobo, who did the cover art for it. It is part of my Long Dead Gods AU, but isn't connected to Vesperal Breeze's storyline within the same AU. The OCs were designed and written by me and exist in my AU, but belong to him.

The holidays are meant to be a time of holly jolly fun, spending time with friends and family, and celebrating the magic of friendship. You usually couldn't pay most ponies to take a work shift on Hearth's Warming. Redheart, of course, loves the Hearth's Warming shift. It's her favorite time of year, and she can spend it with the only friends and family she has: her patients.

But this particular Hearth's Warming might be different.
