After the events of 'School Daze,' Chancellor Neighsay is summoned by Celestia.

As Celestia can attest, nothing is ever simple. A stallion may walk through a portal in a huff and everycreature may cheer his departure, but that doesn't make him any less of an important functionary in the greater scheme of things. And so, while the Princess of Friendship can handle the straightforward task of averting world war, Celestia must shoulder a heavier burden.

She has to convince a bureaucrat that he made a mistake.

Set soon after the season 8 premiere. Even Chancellor Neighsay of the Equestria Education Association has to respond to a summons from Princess Celestia. His attempt to shut down Princess Twilight's School of Friendship has had repercussions, and she intends to discuss them with him... the poor sap.

The last ones allowed passage were a team of ponies sent by Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor two years ago, and of the seven that set out… only one came back.

But the mystery may be on the verge of being solved. The defeat of Tirek has awakened a new power in the Elements of Harmony, one that can resist Mount Everhoof’s empathic magics. With the aid of Maud Pie’s expertise in geomancy, Twilight Sparkle and her friends now venture up Mount Everhoof in search of an artifact belonging to the late King Sombra. They’ve yet to learn what connections the Mad King had with the mountain, but they know they must locate the cursed artifact and destroy it…

...before it can cause any more harm.

Sunset Shimmer and her fellow Rainbooms are almost ready to graduate from Canterlot High and move on to the next chapter of their lives. And Sunset's life couldn't be better.

However, just days before graduation, Sunset is called to a meeting where she meets the superintendent of Canterlot High, Neighsay. And the superintendent reveals that he's been keeping tabs on Equestrian Magic.

With graduation lurking over the horizon, Sunset must face the fact that Equestrian magic and her involvement with it can't stay secret for much longer. Now shes faces a dilemma as she must decide not only how to break the news to her friends, but what she'll do when her actions can't stay hidden from the public.

Chancellor Neighsay returns from his humiliating encounter with Celestia and Twilight in front of the School of Friendship and thinks things over a bit.

He also hopes that his acting in front of them wasn't too on the nose.

Unsettled by the events involving Cozy Glow, Chancellor Neighsay finds his finely honed blade of critique pointed at a new target: himself.

A My Little Mages retelling of School Daze

(Takes place immediately after "Friendship University".)

Flim and Flam's fraudulent university has been exposed and shut down, Twilight's School of Friendship is busier than ever. But all is not well.

Now aware of the practices and statements made by the head of the EEA, Princess Celestia realizes she has no choice but to call in Chancellor Neighsay for an important discussion.

The Chancellor is most surprised to be granted an audience with the princess, but he'll be even more surprised by what she has to say to him. Has the chancellor gone too far this time?

In the aftermath of Cozy Glow's defeat, all seems well in Ponyville. But then the shocking news is given that the line from Ponyville to Canterlot is to be closed. The Young 6 will not have this, and make a bid to save the line and run it themselves. But local opposition, sabotage, and crime will push their friendships with each other to the very limit.

Based on the Ealing Classic, 'the Titfield Thunderbolt'. Takes place between seasons 8 and 9, and was written before 'She's all Yak' aired.
