Twilight Sparkle is one of the most powerful Unicorns in Equestrian history. But how would the events of the show change if Twilight, the Element of Magic, was never a Unicorn? Would she still be able to wield the element? Would she still make the same friends? Would she even be Celestia's student at all?

A small story. Don't expect a super long story out of this. Inconsistent updates is my specialty. Especially due to college. Have fun reading this cutesy story!

This story is a sequel to The Dresden Fillies: False Masks

It's been a while since the girls have seen their good friend Harry Dresden. Discord escaped, Luna attended her first Nightmare Night, the Royal Wedding was crashed by hordes of changelings, and Pinkie Pie threw a statistically improbable number of parties. They tried inviting Dresden, but between his new job and new apprentice, he always claimed to be too busy. The solution was obvious; if he couldn't come to his friends, they needed to go visit him. Besides, they say Earth is lovely this time of year. What could go wrong?

Three months since /Pon-E/ and its namesake had appeared online. For Freddy it was life-changing, bringing him new friends and creating the closest friendships he's ever known. Although after two months of near-daily usage, his entire group's supply of Pon-E had run out.

For Freddy's father, the changes he's seen in his son are a source of worry. From a quiet introvert to suddenly going out for parties every other day. Fearing the worst, He'll have to investigate whilst his son is out.

All stories in this continuity use the Prose version as their definitive version, so changes from green to prose should be expected.

Neil had everything planned carefully, His parents were heading out, his little sister was out at a sleepover. The house was his, and that meant he could finally use the drug that according to /Pon-E/ would transform him into a real pony, for a short twelve-hour span.

Nothing could ruin today...right?

The first part of what I'm nicknaming the Pon-Efluffverse, So expect a sequel to this next month!

The colt's arrival is just the beginning, as Rarity and her friends soon find themselves swept up in a century-old war. Finding out the colt having strange powers were just the tip of the iceberg after all.

So...rewriting my Wakfu Story. Didn't quite like how it was turning out before after all.

Before the reign of the Regal Sisters, a pony gazed into the abyss and lost her sanity.
In her madness, she was granted foresight and issued a prophecy that told of the reign of two sisters up to the creation of a gate to the void, the existenceless abyss her insanity and power came from.
More than a thousand years have passed since then. The Equestrians have forgotten about the prophecy and the cult that the mad seer has sparked is all but gone. Only a single follower remains, perpetuating a disputable "gift" passed throughout generations.
Finally, the stars are right and the Princess of the Night returns, starting a series of events that culminate in the ascent of a pony whose magic might be strong enough to breach the boundaries of her dimension.
Now all the demented cultist has to do is to get her to do just this.

Takes place during the second half of the third season. For the most part, at least.
Should not directly contradict show canon. Apparent contradictions are either intentional and will be eventually resolved or errors on my part.

Shout-out to Cygnia for being my lovely preliminary reader.
If you find grammatical errors, please point them out so I can exterminate them.

She couldn't have made it herself. A solitary bookkeeper, long disillusioned with the "dream job" of maintaining the Canterlot archive, becomes the unwitting guide to a panicked Princess of the Night in the deepest recesses of their voluminous libraries.

Deep underneath the shelves and scroll racks, through the perilous and twisting caverns and gnarled trap-laden corridors, he realizes she isn't just seeking a getaway from the pedantic Canterlot politics. She's seeking to destroy an evil as old as the night sky itself. An evil that...well, she couldn't have made it herself...

Twilight Sparkle has ruled Equestria for over a thousand years. From her throne atop the floating city of Concord, she enforces ruthless harmony over the handful of surviving settlements. But Twilight is afraid: Equestria's survival always hangs by a thread, as enemies more ancient than the Alicorns threaten to return and devour what she has built.

Twilight selects her star pupil, a young unicorn named Star Orchid, to travel down from the perfect city of Concord into the dangerous ruins beneath, so that she might locate these forces, and help Twilight to destroy them. Only when every threat to Equestria is finally dismantled will she be able to rest. Until then, there is much left to purify.

Updates Wednesdays.

This story was commissioned by TyrannisUmbra, with additional funds donated by my enabler, Two Bit. If you'd like one of your own, drop me a PM!

This story takes place in the same universe as Why We Dig. I'm not going to call it a sequel, since none of its characters will be aware of anything in that story, so you won't have to be either.

Twilight Sparkle didn’t care about overseeing the Summer Sun Celebration in some podunk little town. She just wanted a chance to study the history of the Lunar Rebellions and maybe, just maybe, convince Celestia that her sister’s return was a real possibility. Now it’s a lot more than just a possibility, and one Canterlot egghead isn’t going to be able to take on Nightmare Moon and her army alone.
