When it comes to light that Shining Armour has been in a secret affair with Rarity, it leaves Princess Cadence and Spike stunned and badly hurt. Leaning on each other for comfort, the two devise a plan to not only get revenge on the ponies that hurt them, but maybe even heal their broken hearts along the way.

But trouble brews when the eight new friends must now join forces to stop Trixie and Gideon from taking over all of Equestria and Discord from making Gravity Falls into his own playground. These friends will need much more then just luck...they'll need friendship.

The time this story takes place is between the second and third season, so stuff like Trixie's and Twilight's battle, Discord being reformed, and Twilight becoming a princess has yet to happen.

After some encouragement from Silver, Diamond reluctantly accepts said challenge, and gets a new perspective on life. But only for a short time.

Miss Cheerilee has informed her class of the brand new scheme that Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna had come up with called Somepony New Day. In which, one pony has to spend the whole day with a pony they usually wouldn't. Not many ponies liked the sound of the idea, but hey. They get the day off school.
