Ten years ago the ten western tribes of griffins united to drive the ponies into exile. Now Gemma returns with her father Gus to one of the ponies' old cities with their eyes set on its fertile fields.

But Kelp Town may not be as empty as it first appears. Something haunts the old city streets. Something that steals from traps, and only comes out at night.

The city holds a secret, one that could change everything the griffins knew about themselves and the ponies that once lived among them.

My first mystery story. Contains light animal gore.

Ever since the Summer Sun Celebration, Twilight has been settling in to life in a small town away from Canterlot. And while she loves her new friends, she can't help but admit that it's a much bigger change than she'd initially thought.

But things like homesickness, getting lost, and dealing with the way everyone seems to stare at you and whisper are all just part of moving somewhere new.

Twilight just needs to adjust.

This story is a sequel to Tastes Like Heresy

It's said that time heals all wounds. Sometimes it takes a bit more than that, though.

Amber Spice used to have everything she thought she wanted. She had loving parents, a posh upper crust lifestyle, and her dream job as Royal Chef to the King of Unicornia. Or at least she did before she got herself banished to the Pegasopian Desert on charges of heresy. Now she's been stripped of everything she has ever loved, except for her dream to return home with a feat of culinary mastery so awe-inspiring that they just have to let her back in. Hopefully the legends about the pegasi exaggerated their taste for unicorn flesh...

Horizon, a pegasus vanguard of his caravan, has lost something important as well. Many ponies out in the great desert have. Some ponies lost their sister. Others lost their favorite storyteller. Horizon? He lost his fiancee, and nothing's ever been able to fill that hole in his heart. He can still do his job, but that's about all he finds he can do anymore. Time alone hasn't done enough to heal this stallion, but maybe something completely out of the blue will help. A fresh perspective can work wonders on one's outlook, after all.

The world has broken these ponies, but together they may yet rise again.

Twilight wakes up and nothing is right. The sun and moon are gone. Nightmarish creatures wander the streets. The darkness is everlasting, and nopony is the same.

Separated from her friends and trapped in a Ponyville that's out for blood, Twilight Sparkle must find the other Elements of Harmony and bring an end to the nightmare. No matter what it takes.

A comment-driven story. Be warned that tags and rating could change at any time.

Twilight Sparkle succeeds in finishing Starswirl's mysterious spell, but just as her friends have rediscovered their true callings Celestia informs her of a new great purpose. Twilight and the other Element Bearers are to travel far beyond Equestria's borders, perform a spell together, and once again seal away an ancient evil that threatens not only Equestria, but all of Equis. Of course Twilight and her friends have vanquished many a foe in the past, so this seems simple enough.

But it's not. Celestia isn't telling the entire story. There is more to Starswirl's spell - and Twilight's destiny - than the six bearers have been told.

Thrust deep into an unknown world with little direction, Twilight and her friends will soon find that there's more to Celestia and Luna's shared past than they could have ever thought possible... and that the Equestria they call home may already be far beyond saving.

Just how, exactly, was Equestria really made?

An alternate universe diverging at the very end of "Magical Mystery Cure". Ignores comic canon. An attempt was made to stick to canon geography, but considering the world hasn't been mapped out in full there will be headcanon thrown in as well.

Chrysalis didn't become a Queen by making stupid mistakes, nor by failing to have a backup plan. So when a certain pesky purple pony starts to stick her nose where it doesn't belong, Chrysalis thinks up a plan sure to win her the day.

Twilight Sparkle is an extremely powerful mare filled with platonic love. Platonic love that's necessary in order to power one of the only weapons strong enough to eradicate Chrysalis' swarm. Platonic love that makes both Celestia and Luna hesitate to hurt the little mare. Platonic love that Chrysalis can both eat and twist to her whim.

This day is going to be perfect. If nothing else, Queen Chrysalis is at least going to have one very satisfying snack.

Twilight Sparkle wakes up one morning to a harsh dose of unreality. She is stranded, without her friends, on an island which matches no known locale on Equestria. Surrounded and harried on all sides by the alien and the dangerous, she will find her mettle sorely tested, and find perhaps that the best friends you will ever have in your life are the ones you make when your back is to the wall...
