Where Canterlot was primarily unicorns, Ponyville was a plethora paired with a floating city filled with pegasi, but then something catches her eye when she looks at the recent weather report and sees a brown cloud with the name 'Chocolate Rain' and goes to ask Rainbow Dash what it means.

She doesn't like the answer she's given.

Roseluck is a pony who believes in Facts, and what she believes about them is that everypony saying something is true can only be the product of mass brainwashing. The free mind recognizes that Evidence is just a hoax with props. So if the government has asked ponies to temporarily wear masks in order to avoid spreading an illness? That can't be the real reason. Something is going on, and only the forces of Independent Thinking stand any chance of saving Ponyville from itself.

Of course, when it comes to the Flower Trio, Independent Thinking is also known as Fear-Addicted Paranoia. Everypony's been trying to tell them that for years...

Pinkie Pie has gotten a job at a prestigious bakery in Manehatten. She moves into the city and gets a lovely little old house, complete with furnishings and old things. She finds a chest in the attic that seems sealed, and upon opening it, finds a puppet inside who speaks to her.
The puppet seems nice enough, and expresses an interest in Pinkie Pie and her life around the city. Pinkie has seen stranger things, and doesn't really question it, just opting to treat her new friend like she wouldn't any other friend. But things aren't as simple as she thinks they are.
