Ever since moving to Ponyville, Twilight has neglected something: her other residence. The rooms she used in the Canterlot Archives are still filled with her possessions. It's been nearly a year, and the Archives want her to clear out already so the place can go to the new departmental librarian. She has until sunset -- or anything still there just might remain so. Spike, knowing the deadline is hours away from arriving, recruits the Bearers to help her.

But Twilight doesn't want help.

A deadline is in front of her, and she's -- stalling.

Despite the name, this fic features no explicit content. This started as a mini-crackfic that eventually turned into legitimate romance story. Takes place before Starlight Glimmer is reformed.

One thousand years ago, Luna was taken over by Nightmare Forces and sent to the moon. She left her sister, their parents and a two week old daughter behind.

Now the seal is about to break and Nightmare Moon will be free once more. Will Twilight be able to free her mother from the Nightmare's grasp?

A stream of consciousness is simpler to drown in than a running river. Moondancer knows that it's dangerous to let her mind wander. There are much more dangerous things. It doesn't matter. None of it matters. But a question still lingers at the frayed edges of her mind.

Time moves forward, unyielding, oppressing. Will anypony still think of her? At least, in the way she remembers them? Will they remember her? At least, in the way she wants to be remembered?

Spike is growing up, a little bit at a time. It has its upsides. He can carry Rarity's luggage more easily, he gets to have a bigger bed, he doesn't fall asleep all the time, and, hey, wings are pretty cool, too!

Unfortunately, part of growing up is outgrowing things you used to take for granted. Alicorn Princess or not, Twilight's still a pony, and ponies weren't built with carrying adolescent dragons in mind.

Something random that popped into my head while rewatching some of this season's episodes. It could be read as something of a tie in to my previous story, "Seven Hour Bubblebath", but it can be read as a standalone story as well.
