After saving Scootaloo's life from a suicide attempt, Apple Bloom brought her to the hospital to get her fixed up. Now in the care of the doctors, both herself and Sweetie Belle search for answers as to why their young pegasus friend was driven to almost cutting her life short.

Where did she get the drugs and pills from? Where are her parents, and did they have anything to do with this? No matter what, the truth will be revealed.

I'm adding the sex tag for just in case reasons. There might be a few scenes that include some near intimate moments but nothing close to warrant a mature rating.

After talking to Sunset, Applejack and Rarity, both Moonshade and Lily are struggling to even think of forgiving those that have hurt them. At the same time the girls have promised to see a psychiatrist and are being prepared to join the student body of CHS for the next semester.

With all of this going on bonds are being strengthened between the girls, their new guardians and new friends. Both Luna and Chrysalis are within inches of completing their goal of being able to adopt them, but Chrys also has one more plan kept secret.

As a warning there will be more time jumping in this story than in the previous ones, but it is for a good reason.

(Set a month after the events of the season 4 finale)

Chrysalis has returned to Canterlot, but this time under a flag of truce, instead of a banner of war. She has come because her race is dying, and much to everponies surprise, the last hope for her race is in Equestria.

However, nopony is prepared for the news of who is carrying this last hope, nor the ramifications of what this last hope is likely to bring.

Rating: Rated teen for some sexual scenes and violence in later chapters.

Warning Number 4: Twilight's brother Shining Armor will me getting a major change to his character portrayal throughout the course of this fic, a change that will involve some dark undertones, which is one of the reasons for the dark tag.
Final Warning: This fic will delve deep into a fannon portrayal of changeling hive structure, hierarchy, and culture, so those who already have head cannon's behind those and are unwilling to accept or tolerate new ones should probably steer clear of this fic.

It's never easy taking care of a loved one lost to addiction, especially when the rest of the world is so quick to leave them behind. Luckily in Ponyville, there's always a light left on in case some pony has nowhere left to turn.

Being a changeling is not easy, mainly due to having to feed on love, but the most difficult is having to find it to feed. Fortunately for Chrysalis, this is not a problem that she needs to worry about anymore. With her and Twilight together, Chrysalis found a way to feed on love without having to suck on the pony: which is through physical contact, praise and loving words. But one morning, she wakes up hungry, and Twilight knows how to feed her hungry marefriend.

When Twilight Sparkle finished Starsweral's spell to fix her friends she did not expect to become the new Princess of Equestria. When the magic hit her to form wings Twilights life flashed before her eyes. Images of her friends, her accomplishments, the adventures, their pains.

But why was she seeing other things, stuff that Twilight couldn't explain. Things that looked out of this world. Creatures that didn't exist in Equestria, beings and technology not from this world.
