After the Canterlot Wedding disaster, the rebellious Thorax defected from the changeling kingdom to come to the land of Equestria, and with him came many changelings who agreed with his message of peace. However, Queen Chrysalis, angry at his insubordination, launched an invasion against Equestria.

With their forces spread thin across the land, Equestria has no choice but to rely on one thousand reformed changeling volunteers as an assault against Chrysalis's main army. But will the plan to end the invasion force succeed? Or is hope doomed for all?

After spreading the world of the Storm King's demise, Tempest Shadow feels it is time to further atone for her role in his attrocities by leading an attack on Klugetown to liberate the slaves being imprisioned and sold there. After a rousing speech to convince Equestria's Royal Guard, and an appeal to Queen Novo's desire to make up for years and years of cowering in Seaquestria, an army of ponies and hippogriffs is ready to shatter Verko's hold on the town. With Tempest Shadow, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and the other five Element Bearers leading the charge, victory is all but assured.

What's more, two of the brave creatures among this army are about to have meetings that will significantly alter the course of their lives.

In the months he's been in Equestria with no way to leave, Eric Reed's beard hasn't grown back for unknown reasons. When he finally mentions it to Princess Twilight Sparkle, she becomes driven to learn the reason.

Eric soon grows fed up of Twilight's persistence and tries to make her leave him alone. But to do it, he must figure out the solution to one question.

What can Eric, a human, do against an Alicorn that won't leave him alone if she doesn't want to?

Fluttershy's fangs never went away. Her regression to the ways of Vampire Fruit Bat-pony-ism were inevitable. And, sadly, there didn't seem to be many ways to cure Fluttershy of that problem for good. Only one ridiculous and possibly awful method seemed valid: by introducing Fluttershy to something both apple-related and traumatizing, the Vampire Fruit Bat part of her might shut itself down forever.

Only Applejack can think of one possible solution to this problem, and the solution isn't pretty. In fact, it's about the un-prettiest thing possible.

Don't click the spoiler text if you don't want to ruin the joke and feel like going in blind, but obligatory warning: this story contains (implied) crapping on one of your friends to treat a supernatural illness.

If this also sounds like a joke, it is it is my tribute to The greatest thing Present Perfect has ever written. And by "tribute," I mean "Parody/hopefully the start of the Fibrous Nuggets-verse." For what it's worth, I think he liked it.

A changeling who has lived at the side of an Equestrian mare for most of his life finds himself in the middle of the changeling invasion of Canterlot. He has no idea who the invading queen or hive are, and just wants to stay where he is, and more importantly, who he is.

The spell that ends the invasion doesn't discriminate, though. With his old pony form irreversibly stripped away, and the whole kingdom out to hunt his kind, he tries to keep his family together, and struggles to find his place in the world.
