Spike after moving away from his childhood home, comes back six years later and enrolls at Crystal Prep Academy only to discover his six female childhood friends are already students there. It would be a joy for Spike if it weren't for the fact his six friends had changed while he was away. Follow a familiar duo as they endeavor to change one another for the better and share an unexpected adventure.

For Captain Twilight Sparkle this is a chance to get her charge to start taking his station seriously as she guides him along his first royal task.
For Prince Spike this is a long awaited chance to make new friends, and maybe get his no nonsense guardian to loosen up a bit.

Spike chose the wrong day to get lost in high school territory. Him and his friends just wanted to take a shortcut to get to the bus quicker so that they wouldn't be late. As they pass the windows of the Canterlot High gym, they hear someone fighting, then peek inside. He and his friends spot a boxer training, so with their interest at its highest summit they watch the mystery person train. Then as, they saw him go to the locker room, they decided to follow him to the next window.

However he is actually a she. A fearsome one at that.

When Rarity writes to Princess Celestia inquiring after how dragons age, she gets a plea for help in reply. A war is brewing, and Princess Celestia thinks Rarity's the one to stop it. Now, still completely uncertain what her feelings for Spike are or if they're even plausible, she's off to meet with his distant relatives to negotiate a truce between the dragons and the sea serpents before the world gets caught up in their destructive clash.
