Not to pressure or anything, but maybe a "to be continued" or something would be in order? You seem to have started a plot line, and then said "the end" right in the middle of it.

Well that was...abrupt? Yeah, let's go with that.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the story. But then it just...ends. Like, just stops. Why? Did you just run out of ideas, did you not want to risk ruining a good story by making it too long? Eh, well, it was still good enough to get a thumbs-up and a fave from me, but honestly I'm disappointed that you're seemingly done with this.
