For years now a creature wanders the world of Albion, with questions in his head and sand in his boots. The questions are rather simple: Where do I come from and where will I go? But how do they say? Sometimes, the journey is the reward.

Is it wrong that I rather wish I could slaughter the entire governing body of Ti for the injustices they have wrought?

I want to say more, but I honestly need to go back and reread the story up to this point to be able to ensure I'm saying things that are true instead of trying to dig up memories.
I am also aware of the 'better ending' this one is getting over Nightmare, I honestly stopped reading that one once the signs were shown of where it was headed, and a sneak peek at the end was enough to turn me away. It's just, from what I do recall, been one thing after another after another, and now you've gone and killed off Shining Armor, which doesn't sit all that well to me. There was already enough conflict, and now there's an all out war. The story (heh) to this point had been more focused on Thiemo's journey and perhaps finding someplace to call home, but the tonal shift lately has just been so rough on things.
So, some personal prejudice, and would have to go back to see if anything bugged me that I could try to fault at your end, but I honestly doubt that. So, probably only personal prejudice coming into play with my first comment. Longer stories do tend to have shifts in their tone, and I just don't agree with the shift in this one.

Celestia was always in the latter mode. I would imagine now more then ever.
I thought Twilight statement and the fact that she is assembling an army to fight Ti is proof of that.

Yes, the first half of the story was about finding home, but more for Auralia than Thiemo. He always planned to move on. He and Amaryllis planned to leave on a new adventure after their vacation on earth. But other things happened. But with chapter 6, we will go on the road again.

Yes, if you think they are the only ones to blame while the pony side is kosher. Take a look at the picture of Ti and you will have an idea about how the humans have been living the last 1000 years thanks to Celly , and why would they ally themselves with the changelings and the Nightmare.
I don't think Ti is in any shape to actually fight Equestria if their living in the slums is any proof.
7701591 i don't think it's confirmed ALL of ti is slums. For all we know a secret faction could have secretly revived their old tech.
Quite drastic a turn this story has made...
I feel bumped.
7701023 Oh hell no I don't just blame Ti. Celly here needs to get top spot right next to Tirek, minimum. And the ponies need to pull their collective head out of their ass.
i think that the humans of ti were wronged, it would be surprising if they accepted to live like this... personally i would do the same thing on their place
7700905 Yes.
7707190 Eh, fair enough. That said, I really hope to see both they and Celestia get some sense beaten into them.
Here in dust we will kill the world that stole from US
7704620 They lashed out and attacked the only place that accepted them. Yeah no, I have no sympathy for these ungrateful idiots...
Being oppressed is one thing, attacking the ones that is trying to help them is another.
I'm annoyed that Celestia tend to be the villian/antagonist in so many stories. Damn Remnants of the whole NCR and SE stuff. The thing that I hate.
Wow, just read through the last five chapter. Heavy stuff. I'm sure there's more to it, but prison colonies, especially making them of a civilization who clearly is able to produce technology beyond their neighbors, seems like setting the timer on a bomb for an unknown time, rather than defusing it.
