Good read and it seems to fit in with the other G5 stuff with them having weird ideas about sex vs other gens.

I doubt it, there was a ~15 second delay before he felt anything prior to that, without it being pointed out he wouldn't have even noticed until then. Any distance close enough to aim and spray could be closed in that time.
They would be counting on them either stopping because of embarrassment (anyone doing something bad enough for this to be used on probably doesn't care about that) or getting loose once the orgasm hit which provided ~3 seconds of some degree of incapacitation as he seems largely ok immediately after.

Takes too long to start having any effect and then doesn't last much time once it does and even then this was a test with someone who was just standing, if they already had their adrenaline up running or angry would it have even slowed them down?
