Celestia somewhat angers me. But I must say it's well written, especially in details
This is the first Fimfiction fanfic i read,and i like it,it is pretty interesting seing Celestia acting like a sadistic pony,she is not like that at all in the series and it is refreshing seing something new like that,there is nothing much to say because it is a short story,7/10

For some reason this reminded me of the Trial of Pope Formosus. Said trial being nine months after his death. The corpse was dug up twice to "stand trial".

That’s partially the inspiration behind this story! I felt it would be amusingly disturbing if Celestia went even further and actually had her ‘executed’ too, rather than just having her fingers removed to nullify all the decisions she made as a Princess (which is what they did to Formosus).
Ouch, I did not pay attention to the hints about Celly's state of mind that were provided early on - probably why the twist surprised me even more than I expected.
One thing that I'm curious about - who is "physically" standing trial: Luna or Nightmare Moon? Because the details of her appearance are vague in this regard and all the ponies call her Luna. Did she even transform at all in this timeline?

It’s Luna. She would have transformed to fight Celestia but after death I imagine her body would revert to her true form.
