This story is a sequel to Trixie Hits The Jackpot
(It is recommended but not required that you read Trixie Hits The Jackpot first, which is itself a sequel to Road to Family.)
Jackpot comes to Ponyville for something long overdue: A reunion with his only daughter, Trixie. And he decides to pay her a visit at her new profession: The School of Friendship's guidance counselor.
Trixie, for her part, is completely unaware of the reunion that is about to unfold. After all, she hasn't seen her father in so long he might as well not exisit.
Is Trixie looking forward to finally getting to see her father again after all these years? Or have the years of separation left too big of a wound to be healed?

I think this is a neat story.

Again, this is a well done one-shot with great characterizations, exchanges and wrap-up. Yeah, I could see Trixie reacting like that to Jackpot coming over for a visit as well as the commentary on behavior before the visit.
