I loved the story! However, gonna have to disagree on that Discord bit.

He’s hands down the most powerful character in MLP:FIM and would literately dance around Nightmare Moon while they’re fighting.

You need Grogar’s Bell, Tirek’s absorption, Chrysalis’s throne (You basically have to NERF Discord), or the Elements to beat him, all of which NM has never wielded nor possessed.
