While singing her villain song, Opaline accidentally opens a line of communication with Misty. This quickly devolves into a conversation about the aspects of Opaline's songwriting...and, for some reason, movie villains.
(Honestly, this was something that popped in my head. Please don't take it too seriously.)
Oh Opaline, don't you know that a badass musical number is the mark of a truly memorable villain?
Oh gosh, Opaline's me when I had my emo streak...

My Chemical Opaline!
Okay, I can't help but think of Opaline as an emo and Misty as a perky goth now.
That's what every MLP villain has said, Opaline, but they all end up being cliche and derivative in their villainy too.
So don't worry--you're still in good company.
... Wow... Seeing Misty roasting Opaline and not giving a damn about future consequences feels weird, yet it also seems pretty good.
Starlight: YEAH RIGHT!
I CAME UP WITH THE OLD MAGIC STEALING THING AND SO DID TIREK!
Who’s the pawn now Opaline? 😂

She is so in denial, isn't she?
Good story!
I enjoyed reading it.
The premise of this story reminded me of this scene from Tell your Tale:

Apparently not. Then again, Opaline relies on her minion far more than most villains.

Probably due to the fact she lacks power at this point.
Opaline the edgy alicorn OC the writers must have found on deviantart
