Twilight Sparkle has been ruler of Equestria for a few moons. However, she's still puzzled as to the backstory of her predecessors. So, she heads off to Silver Shoals to find the truth. Little does she know it, but the story Celestia tells her will set up an entire generation of new friendships.

Oh, I like this, though it feels more like the start of a series than a one-shot. Either way I think it's a good set up for post-finale Twilight.

Why do I get the feeling that's what Twilight ended up doing?
