While singing her villain song, Opaline accidentally opens a line of communication with Misty. This quickly devolves into a conversation about the aspects of Opaline's songwriting...and, for some reason, movie villains.

On a rather chilly night, Izzy finds herself unable to sleep. She and her friends are on their way to Bridlewood, to try and locate the Unicorn Crystal. Unfortunately, troubled memories are keeping her awake. Luckily, Sunny is awake as well, and Izzy finally has the chance to share the past she'd kept bottled up inside.

However, it's gonna take more than just their friendship to save Equestria this time. It's gonna take the power...of dark-tinged rock and roll!
