Moproblems Moharmoney

Because Rainbow Lasers Solve Everything

T

Flash Sentry wasn't the first to disappear, he will however, be the very last.

Actions have consequences after all.

Inspired by the virulent reaction I felt reading Mockingbirb's "Even the Milk Cartons Don't Care", which in itself is a response fic to eemoo1o's "Flash In The Pan".

A non canon, authorised, DOUBLE response fic!? How avante garde :raritywink:

At least it isn't Beanis. :moustache:

So, let’s see if I got this ending right: Wallflower was turned into an undying plant after a confrontation with Discord as punishment for her crimes against humanity.

That sound about right, or am I missing something?

Well, this probably won't be the worst fic based on those two fics (the worst one is apparently mine), but with how permanently cursed Wallflower fics are, I'd expect downvotes.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste a perfectly good "hmm" on this one either.

11369292
Ding ding ding!
Got it in one.

Wallflower stories are permanently cursed? Intrueging, any theories as to why?

11369361
You always end up between people who hate her guts and people who only like one specific interpretation of her. That's why both my Wallflower fics are horrible: this way I expect nothing and I'm less disappointed.

Indeed. I discovered it's a war crime to write Wallflower as straight.

I'm vacillating between leaving a comment about some of what I really enjoyed in this story, and concern about being utterly misunderstood by SOME PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER.

Let me say, I can really enjoy some elements in a story not because they are something I would ever want to see happen to someone, but because I think they are well imagined and well portrayed (and work in their context.)

Also,

No, she'd learnt better. Blueblood had been a real eye-opener. He was cute, charming, had a good body and was rich as all get out. The last two hadn't mattered initially but in her meagre attempts at flirting he'd pushed her harder than any other boy ever had. Cruel words had cruel results. It lived in her basement now, as all good boyfriends should.

Its embrace was...calming. Intimate. Soft. Hours at a time it would be in her arms, glassy-eyed and desperate for her. She'd brush its silky hair and soothe the once-mans half-formed whimpers, a soft smile on her face. He'd been a monster once, now he was obedient, he was hers. He was her little Blueblood.

I mean, yeah, this could use a bit of proofreading, ('mans' and MAYBE the comma splices) but fundamentally what I said above.

Thanks kindly, much like yourself I was rather surprised at how...passionate people were about this bit of fiction. Especially when the prior sequel has Wallflower committing pretty heinous crimes herself. Regarding proofing and suchlike, I'm aware It's not perfect. I tend to lean heavily on Grammarly, though it was a pleasant experience to actually have a pre-reader for once. If I could find a more permanent one then these things could/would go alot smoother.

For THIs story, did you use Grammarly too, or did you rely solely on the prereader?

Great Discord revenge fic! They're hard to get right, but this one just flows strong and steady.

Thanks 😃

To me, Discord is akin to a Greek God when it comes to revenge. He's all about that grim irony and thematic come uppance. Sure he could erase you with a snap of his fingers, but where's the fun in that?

Oh, yeah, the Greek God stereotype fits Discord really well. He wants his target to suffer, and he wants to do it in style and have fun doing it.
