Eh, edgy stories can be more than hateboner things, imo.
I will agree without proper slice of life or general downtime it turns into horrid projection or drab fiction.
I'm fine with happy go lucky stories, after all a lot of people seemed to have forgotten this fandom was built on the tenets of friendship and harmony.
