I actually based it off of two scenes from different franchises.
1. When Sonic saved Tails from drowning in an archie comic
2. When Carl and Russel first met Dug from Up.
This does bring up the question of how Lachlan is even friends with ponies in the first place, because with how they all reacted to Alex & Andrew it seem more likely they would try and abduct or imprison him for not being a pony so they could do horrible things to him. Though if he were more just somewhat acquainted with them instead of being friends it would make more sense.
And really, at this point I don't think they even CAN be friends with nonponies with how they're acting. If news of all this spread outside Equestria ponykind would end up pariahs.
So that explains why Lachlan is there in the first place. I bet once he finds out celestia is endorsing ponies to hunt the humans down he'll be in for an unpleasant shock. Like, suddenly Celestia is turning evil and endorsing ponies to go do terrible things.
The only part of this chapter that could use some work is the prophecy. It seems too direct in saying exactly what will happen with who.
I hope there could be more ponies to catch them.

He just attacks him? That doesn't make any sense when he was getting mad about them mistreating Lachlan. And Andrew being friends with the ponies still doesn't seem possible, let alone what Celestia wanted.
Is there an official backstory on Lachlan? Because I feel like I'm missing a ton of information
