I like how snips and snails got a punishment for their actions. Considering that was the worst part of the episode. Considering the woods at night are no place for a child who has little to no experience in the woods. And they certainly shouldn't wake a giant bear up.
Good chapter, was quite enjoyable and it was interesting to learn of Xavier's weakness and how he affected the parasite event.

I always felt like twilight was insensitive during this episode. And for a night assistant shouldn't the owl not be working during the day. Plus the owl put spike in danger which could been avoided if he had moved spike first before grabbing the book from the stack he was standing on. Twilight scolded spike for being endangered even though it wasn't his fault. Plus her getting upset about the books was an overreaction because she has a fire breathing dragon in a place that screams fire hazard.

Empathy isn't just about being kind to those in need its also putting yourself in other's shoes even if they aren't openly saying something is wrong. They were plenty of times when she needed to show it to rainbow and didn't even notice. She only noticed other's feelings when they actually said it.

Yes sweetie messed up by touching rarity stuff but she also meant well and rarity should have been mature enough to explain why she was upset. Considering sweetie was trying to help and everything that rarity hated at first ended up being great afterwards and rarity doesn't get the right to act like her sister is her servant. She is supposed to a combination of mom and friend not that she was going for either with her sister. Makes me wonder when the last time she spent time with her family was?
